Why…

am I watching Breaking Amish for like the 3rd time in 2 days??

I have GOT to find the remote!!

Holla!

Hey kids!  I’m back!

I’ve noticed a significant correlation with my use of tumblr when I actually have my “office” set up vs when I don’t.  Finally got my office set up in my new apartment (it sounds much fancier than it is, I legitimately turned an extra walk in closet into an office…)

Anyways, now I’m tumbling again!!!

Oh the 90s. Good times.

Haha right? I miss the 90s!

Pregnancy freaks me out…

I saw this post on Facebook of a pregnant woman showing the way the inside of her body looks when carrying a child inside and I realized how absolutely crazy that shit is. You are literally like growing a person inside you. Growing another person…

It freaks me out to think about…lol

Don’t you, forget about me vs. Can I keep you?

So, I just watched The Breakfast Club for the first time.  Honestly, besides Curly Sue and Home Alone’s 1 and 2…I never really had an overwhelming desire to watch any of the John Hughes movies that everyone was always talking about.  I watched Ferris Bueller sometime in jr high, but I’m almost positive it was only after I had looked up the quotes on IMDB and then found the most “nostalgic” line and made it my AIM description.  Anyways, so after having watched plenty of other movies that make reference to “the greatest movie of all time”, I figured why the hell not, and set my DVR to record it.

Frankly, I can’t really tell what was so amazing about it?  Maybe I just missed the best time in life to watch it?  In my 26th year of life, I might be just too old to get the awesomeness.  I don’t really know, but the Pitch Perfect and Easy A references really had me expecting greatness.  I’m more than mildly disappointed…

I can’t lie to you guys though, I wasn’t all that impressed with Sixteen Candles or Pretty in Pink, either.  Maybe I just can’t really believe Molly Ringwald as a love interest now that I’ve experienced her as the mom in Secret Life of the American Teenager…or maybe my age group was just more obsessed with Christina Ricci and Claire Danes.  I can never get tired of watching Casper or Romeo + Juliet.

It could also be that I was, of course, totally infatuated with real life Casper (Devon Sawa) after he walked down that staircase and asked Kat to dance and kissed her while they floated on the floor.

Hey…I was 9!

But really though, to this day, I still have mixed CD’s with that song ‘Remember Me This Way’ on them and I blare that shit and sing at the top of my lungs while driving down the road…good times!!

“I’ll make a wish for yoooouuuu, and hope it will come trueeee.  That life will just be kind, to such a simple miiiind….and if you lose youuurrrr way, think back to yesterdayyyy.  Remember me this waaayyyy-aaaayyyy.  Remember me this waaayyyy…..

Did law and order svu hire someone to do their music for season 14??

I don’t remember ever really hearing music in the other seasons, but so far in this episode I’ve heard 2 intros with great music!
